High on a bluff at the northern edge of Highland Valley in San Diego county sits Highland Valley Vineyards.  The property rests at 790' elevation with a constant westerly breeze from the cool shores of the Pacific.

This terroir, together with it's gravelly decomposed granite soil and southeast exposure make it ideal for growing premium grapes for outstanding red wine.  The property overlooks the San Pasqual Valley agricultural preserve with views of the San Diego Wild Animal Park and Palomar Mountain to the north, and Vulcan Mountain to the east.

Construction is underway.  Plans include a small guest house / garage/ winery building and installation of multiple blocks of traditional Bordeaux variety grape vines on the 2.8 acre site.

Watch us grow! Details and photos on our construction are found on the "Vineyard Project" page.

We've been winemakers for years.  See details on our award-winning "Slippery Slope" wines on the "Wines" page.
